DISTRICT ROOFING SOLUTIONS

How District Roofing Solutions Works

A straightforward introduction, with clear responsibilities. DRS receives and reviews your roofing enquiry; the independent contractor handles the inspection, quotation and any roofing work you choose to proceed with.

1. Tell us about your enquiry

Start with your property suburb and a short description of what you need. You might be exploring a roof replacement, reporting a leak or asking about damage after a storm. Include the roof material if known, relevant history and any timing or access considerations. You do not need a technical diagnosis to get started.

Use the enquiry form and review the information-sharing disclosure beside it. Your details may be passed to a selected independent roofing contractor for the purpose of discussing your enquiry, an inspection or a quotation. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

2. DRS reviews the basic details

We review the information you have provided to understand the location and general nature of the enquiry. We may need clarification before considering a referral. This is an enquiry review, not a roof inspection, technical assessment or quotation.

The service focuses on Brisbane and surrounding areas. Providing an accurate suburb and description helps avoid assumptions about coverage or scope. Submitting the form does not book an inspection or confirm that an independent contractor is available.

3. We look for a suitable independent contractor

Where appropriate, DRS helps identify a contractor suited to the enquiry, considering matters such as location, roof material, scope and availability. District matches the enquiry with suitable independent contractors. Where an opportunity is made available through the District contractor network, one eligible contractor may accept and become assigned to the enquiry. Contractors are independent businesses, not DRS employees or roofing crews. We cannot guarantee that a contractor will accept every enquiry.

If an introduction is arranged, the assigned contractor can contact you using the enquiry details. You can ask that business about its relevant experience, licences, insurance and approach to the proposed work before deciding what to do next.

4. You discuss inspection and scope

You and the contractor communicate directly about the property and any proposed inspection. Explain what you have observed, previous roofing work and anything that may affect access. Ask about inspection arrangements, possible fees and what information will be provided afterwards.

The contractor assesses the property and determines the appropriate scope. DRS does not diagnose the roof, specify a repair or supervise an inspection. If further assessment is recommended, ask the contractor to explain why it is needed.

5. The contractor provides the quotation

Any roofing quotation and contracting information comes from the independent contractor. Review the written scope, inclusions, exclusions, timing and payment arrangements. Ask about anything you do not understand before accepting a proposal.

An introduction through DRS does not commit you to roofing work. You decide whether to accept the contractor's quotation. DRS receives a referral fee from the contractor only after a referred job is completed and the contractor has received the customer's final payment.

6. The independent contractor carries out the work

If you proceed, you enter into a roofing contract directly with that business. The contractor carries out and supervises the roofing work and is responsible for its trade obligations, workmanship and contractual commitments. DRS does not perform the work or become a party to that roofing contract.

Questions about the work, scheduling, invoices or defects should be raised with your contractor. You can also contact DRS about the referral service or to tell us about your experience. If you are ready to start, submit your roofing enquiry, or explore the types of enquiries we can help connect.
